It is our goal to grow the site by developing high-quality educational resources offered in an accessible format.
Sacramento County CHDP Program has made new provider orientation easier for you to complete on your own schedule! The training is now available online and can be accessed at your convenience once you have signed up.

Learn strategies to improve oral health screening and fluoride varnish application to help prevent early childhood caries in children. Fluoride varnish application is a covered benefit for all Medi-Cal eligible children and is a reimbursable service.

This gardening and composting training was created for Early Care Education (ECE) daycare providers and/or educators, parents/guardians to learn and understand basic gardening and composting education. This training will provide the benefits and step by step description of building and using wicking beds and worm bins to support nutrition and gardening education with the children and families you serve.

The goal of Sac County Learning is to offer high-quality educational resources delivered in a convenient and easy to use manner.
The inaugural video on the site is “Protect Your Sweet Smile: Sugar-Sweetened Beverages & Oral Health” - a webinar designed to assist dental professionals in guiding their clients to choose healthier drink options. Upon completion, dental professionals will receive one hour of continuing education credit approved by the Dental Board of California.
This project is funded, in part, by a grant from the California Department of Public Health – Office of Oral Health. Proceeds generated by course attendance are used to sustain the costs of administrating continuing education credit hours.
