Sacramento County Public Health is dedicated to promoting optimal health and well-being for all Sacramento County residents. In an effort to meet the evolving needs of the community, we are proud to launch Sac County Learning. It is our goal to grow the site by developing high-quality educational resources offered in an accessible format.
Sacramento County CHDP Program has made new provider orientation easier for you to complete on your own schedule! The training is now available online and can be accessed at your convenience once you have signed up.
If you are a new CHDP provider, or if you have not yet completed the orientation training, please contact Cynthia Johnston at JohnstonC@saccounty.gov to get signed up.
The goal of Sac County Learning is to offer high-quality educational resources delivered in a convenient and easy to use manner.
The inaugural video on the site is “Protect Your Sweet Smile: Sugar-Sweetened Beverages & Oral Health” - a webinar designed to assist dental professionals in guiding their clients to choose healthier drink options. Upon completion, dental professionals will receive one hour of continuing education credit approved by the Dental Board of California.
This project is funded, in part, by a grant from the California Department of Public Health – Office of Oral Health. Proceeds generated by course attendance are used to sustain the costs of administrating continuing education credit hours.
