The Sacramento County Oral Health Program connects people to dental care, provides oral health education and resources for the community. Course Overview & Objectives: the purpose of this training is to increase dental office personnel’s understanding of how best to confidently engage their patients in the conversation about the risks of sugar-sweetened beverage consumption, as well as how to use anticipatory guidance and motivational interviewing strategies to help guide the patient in making healthier choices for themselves and their families.
By the end of this "Protect Your Sweet Smile" presentation, participants will:
