IB administers a church property insurance and church liability insurance program serving churches and related entities within the United Church of Christ, the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Presbyterian Church (USA), Reformed Church in America, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and the Alliance of Baptists. Title: Building a Culture of Protection In The Church

Summary: There is about 75% of the clergywomen and 50% of the laywomen had experienced sexual harassment in the Church. Perpetrators are most often men and increasingly lay-persons in the local church. Studies have revealed that as few as 1% to as many as 38.5% of all clergy, across a wide range of Christian denominations, have engaged in sexual misconduct of some form.
